BATON ROUGE, LA. – The fall season for the University of Alabama men’s golf team came to an unexpected end because of rain in the Baton Rouge, La., area.
Alabama was scheduled to end its fall season here at the 10th annual Country Club of Louisiana Intercollegiate which was to include 36 holes of play on Monday, October 28 and the final 18 on Tuesday, October 29. But the course has had so much rain in the past few days that the conditions of the course were water-logged and unplayable.
No makeup date has been set, though it is unlikely all the teams involved would be able to re-convene in the spring as their spring season schedules have already been set.
