Tide Golfers Play In Fall Finale on Monday and Tuesday

The Tide will play 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday. Competing in the tournament’s field are Alabama, Arkansas, Central Florida, College of Charleston, Florida State, Florida, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, North Carolina State, North Florida, South Florida and TCU.
The University of Florida is the tournament’s host.
Alabama has been led this fall by Lars Brovold. Brovold tied the school’s low 54-hole record on Tuesday when he shot 200 en route to finishing second at the 2003 Jerry Pate National Collegiate. Amongst a field that included more than a dozen All-Americans, Brovold shot 65-65-70/200 to finish13 under par. Brovold takes a 70.63 stroke average into the tournament, having played in all four of Alabama’s events this fall.
