Crimson Tide Men's Golf Team Holds Team Photo Day

The Crimson Tide men’s golf team was on campus near the Crimson Promenade Monday morning to take its team photos for the 2004-05 Alabama Golf Media Guide. The Crimson Tide is preparing for its fall season highlight, the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate. The annual tournament which Alabama hosts features a field of 12 that includes the nation’s top-ranked teams and a bevy of All-Americans. It will be held Monday, October 11, and Tuesday, October 12 at Birmingham’s Old Overton Club. Admission is free, and, among the golfers expected to be in the field is Vanderbilt’s Luke List, the 2004 U.S. Amateur runner-up.

Freshman Gator Todd takes his first official UA golf photo. Todd, a 2004 state champion out of Coffee High School in Florence, is the son of former Tide and New York Jets quarterback Richard Todd.
