Crimson Tide Women Remain Fourth, Men Remain Fifth in USTFCCCA Regional Cross Country Rankings

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's cross country team remains in fourth place while the men remain at No. 5 in the sixth regular season U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) South regional rankings of 2016, released Tuesday.
Both teams were in action at the Southeastern Conference Championships on Oct. 28, with the men finishing fifth and the women finishing sixth. The men's finish was their best since a tie for fifth in 2011 while the women recorded their fourth consecutive top-six finish at the conference championship. Alabama will now be off until traveling to Tallahassee, Fla. for the NCAA South Region meet on Nov. 11.
