
Crimson Tide Women Fourth, Men Fifth in this Week’s USTFCCCA Regional Cross Country Rankings

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's cross country team moved up one spot to No. 4 while the men check in at No. 5 in the second regular season U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings of 2016, released Tuesday. The women were ranked fifth in last week's rankings while the men were fourth.
So far this season, the men have posted back-to-back second-place finishes in the Brooks Memphis Twilight Classic on Sept. 3 and the Chattanooga Powerade Invitational on Sept. 9. The women won the Brooks Twilight and finished second in Chattanooga. Both teams are off until Sept. 30, when they will travel to South Bend, Ind. to compete in the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational.
