Alabama Men’s Cross Country Team Up to No. 24 in Latest USTFCCCA Top 30

Tide climbs four spots after earning at-large berth to NCAA Championships
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's cross country team moved up four spots to No. 24 in the latest U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national rankings released Monday.
The Crimson Tide runners are coming off of a strong performance at last Friday's NCAA South Regional. The Tide men finished third and junior Gilbert Kigen won the men's individual title while fellow UA juniors Alfred Chelanga and Vincent Kiprop finished second and fourth, respectively.
The Alabama men's team competes next at the NCAA Cross Country Championships Nov. 18 at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
