TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama's connection to this Sunday's Super Bowl LI extends beyond the players on the field. A pair of former Crimson Cabaret dancers, Alex Giannini and Hart Hoeffner, and one former Crimsonette, Mallory Meissner Noel, will be performing and cheering with the Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders at NRG Stadium in Houston.
"As their collegiate coach, I couldn't be prouder of Alex, Hart and Mallory for their academic and professional success and for making the pros," Crimson Cabaret coordinator Marion Powell said.
The trio all graduated with honors from the Capstone and are enjoying a variety of academic and career success beyond their duties with the Falcons. Giannini, a 2013 graduate from Orange Beach, Ala., earned a nursing degree from the University of Alabama and works as an agency registered nurse at Emory Healthcare while finishing her master's degree as a nurse practitioner. Hoeffner, a Suwanee, Ga. native, earned her bachelor's degree in 2014 and recently finished her master's in speech-language in 2016. She currently works for Cobb Pediactic Therapy Services as a speech-language pathologist. Noel graduated in 2011 as a double-major in finance and dance, earned an MBA in 2013 and currently works as a financial services manager for Coca-Cola in Atlanta.
