
Three Members of the Alabama Women’s Golf Team Named WGCA Scholar All-Americans

Caroline Curtis, Angelica Moresco and Benedetta Moresco recognized for academic, athletic excellence
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced the 2020-21 All-American Scholars Tuesday afternoon. Among the 1,432 women's collegiate golfers recognized for their excellence in the classroom and on the golf course, Alabama standouts Caroline Curtis, Angelica Moresco and Benedetta Moresco tabbed the prestigious honor.
It marks the fourth straight year Angelica Moresco has earned this distinction, and the second straight year for Curtis, while it is Benedetta Moresco's first time to claim the honor.
To be selected to the WGCA Scholar All-American Team, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 for the entirety of her college career, be of high moral character and played in 50 percent of the program's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the season nominated.
Alabama has had 77 student-athletes named to the WGCA All-American Scholars list since the award's inception in 1985, including 47 since 2005 under head coach Mic Potter. The Crimson Tide has had three or more WGCA All-American Scholars in each of the last 13 years.
