TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Former Alabama men's golfers shined over the Labor Day weekend, highlighted by three securing their 2021-22 PGA Tour cards. Meanwhile, Lee Hodges, Trey Mullinax and Davis Riley each earned their PGA Tour cards for the 2021-22 season. Riley finished seventh and Hodges was 11th on the Korn Ferry Tour money list to secure their cards in mid-August.
Mullinax completed his comeback from an injury that sidelined him for nine months when he placed second overall at the Korn Ferry Tour Finals with a 16-under par 272.
Head Coach Jay Seawell Comments
"What a great weekend for our Alabama golf alums. I am so happy for and proud of Trey. He has had to overcome so much and he is back where he belongs – playing on the PGA Tour. I'm so excited that Trey, Lee and Davis will join other alums. Guys like Justin Thomas, who has had another outstanding year, along with Michael Thompson and Bud Cauley on next year's Tour. Our goal in the beginning of the recruiting process is to always set up our culture and work hard to help our players to achieve their dreams. For us to have three guys achieve those dreams and solidify their spot on the PGA Tour is so special for everyone."
