
Inclement Weather Suspends Third Round Play at NCAA Chapel Hill Regional

The Crimson Tide was able to play for 39 minutes before play was officially halted
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The third round of the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional was suspended Tuesday due to inclement weather. Action is slated to resume on Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. ET (6:30 a.m. CT).
After playing 36 holes on Monday, the 13-team regional played for a total of 39 minutes before officially suspending play for the day. Action began at 7:30 a.m. with the completion of the second round before teams returned to the course to begin the third round of competition. Play was suspended at 11:08 a.m. due to weather conditions, but resumed at 11:32 a.m., before the horn sounded again at 11:47 a.m., when play was officially suspended for the day.

The Lineup
- Three Crimson Tide golfers were able to complete at least one hole on Tuesday
- Jonathan Griz and JP Cave each finished one hole, while Austin Coggin was able to play two holes
- The Tide will resume play in seventh place with a 7-under par 553 (276-277), sitting four shots behind fifth place
