Clemons captured medalist honors at the Folds of Honor Collegiate in his Crimson Tide debut
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Alabama men's golfer Dominic Clemons has been named the SEC Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announce Wednesday. Clemons claimed medalist honors as he led the Crimson Tide to the Folds of Honor Collegiate in the team's season-opening event.

- Junior golfer Dominic Clemons shined in his debut for the Crimson Tide, winning medalist honors at the Folds of Honor Collegiate with a 9-under par 204 (69-66-69)
- Clemons claimed the individual title with a 9-under par 204 (69-66-69) which included three consecutive rounds in the 60s to open his Alabama career, highlighted by a second-round score of 5-under par 66
- Playing in his first-ever event for the Crimson Tide, Clemons become the first Alabama golfer to win in his debut tournament since freshman Justin Thomas claimed the crown at the Carpet Capital Collegiate to open the 2011-12 season
- Thanks in large part to his leadership on the course, the Tide secured its first season-opening tournament title since capturing The Blessings Invitational in 2020.Â
- Clemons won by one stroke over Texas' Tommy Morrison (-8) and finished his final round with only one bogey compared to three birdies
