
Women’s Golf Sits Finishes in Fourth Place at the Liz Murphey Intercollegiate

Alabama’s Kennedy Carroll and Molly Brown Davidson finished in the top 10 on the player leaderboard
ATHENS, Ga. – The Alabama women's golf team finished the Liz Murphey Intercollegiate in fourth place, with a team total of 30-over par 894 (298-297-299).
Kennedy Carroll led the Crimson Tide on the player leaderboard moving up five spots on the final day to eighth place overall at 5-over par 221 (74-75-72), posting her second top 10 finish of the season. Molly Brown Davidson also finished in the top 10 for the second time during her freshman campaign, finishing the tournament with a 54-hole score of 6-over par 222 (77-73-72).
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Kennedy Carroll wrapped up the tournament shooting even-par 72 for her fifth round this season scoring par or lower
- Molly Brown Davidson moved up five spots in the final round of the tournament, matching Carroll's score of even-par 72 for her 10th round this season of par or lower
- Mattison Frick posted her third top 20 finish of the season, ending the tournament tied for 16th place at 10-over par 226 (73-75-78)
- Ryan Flynn posted her second-highest finish of the season in 20th place with a 54-hole score of 11-over par 227 (75-75-77)
- Harriet Lockley rounded out UA's lineup tied for 31st overall at 13-over par 229 (76-74-79)
- Competing as individuals, Julia Sánchez Morales finished in 20th place at 11-over par 227 (73-77-77), her highest finish this season, while Isabella van der Biest finished tied for 40th overall at 15-over par 231 (79-74-78)
TEAM RESULTS
- Georgia State led wire-to-wire and finished in first place at 12-over par 876 (298-283-295)
- Oklahoma's Audrey Rischer took home the individual crown at even-par 216 (71-72-73)
