Treneese Hamilton Qualifies for World Championships as Member of Team Dominica

Hamilton will compete in shot put at the prestigious, international event this month
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama track and field All-American Treneese Hamilton punched her ticket to the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo (Sept. 13-21), representing her home country of Dominica.
Recently, Hamilton won the women's shot put at the Junior Pan American Games (17.21m | 56-5.75), making history by capturing her country's first-ever gold medal at the meet.
