Alabama opens match play event at the Old Barnwell Golf Club on Sunday morning
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's golf team will travel to Aiken, S.C., this week to compete in the Old Barnwell Derby Match Play. Due to weather, the match play event will take place on Sunday, March 15, playing the first two rounds of the event before wrapping up on Tuesday, March 17 at the Old Barnwell Golf Club. All opponents in the field are ranked in the Top 60, including four from the Southeastern Conference. Alabama will begin match up against No. 5 Auburn to begin the Old Barnwell Derby.Â
