Rachel Rybicki Named to SEC Gymnastics Community Service Team

The Southeastern Conference recognizes a student-athlete from each school across its 22 sponsored sports for outstanding community service efforts
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Senior Alabama gymnast Rachel Rybicki was named to the 2026 Southeastern Conference Gymnastics Community Service Team, the league office announced Thursday.
The honor marks the second consecutive year that Rybicki has been named to the league's Community Service Team for gymnastics.

- Has prioritized her service efforts in the Tuscaloosa area, specifically within the Spanish-speaking community
- Logged 55 volunteer hours at Flatwoods Elementary School, assisting with its English as a Second Language program and helping students with classwork by bridging the gap between English and Spanish
- Brought her elementary class to the team's Crimson and White Preview meet (Dec. 2025) for the second consecutive year, providing the group with front-row seats
- Collected complimentary hotel toiletries during each road meet this season to distribute to her students at Flatwoods
- Volunteered at Halloween Extravaganza, where UA student-athletes from various sports host a trick-or-treat event for the Tuscaloosa community
- Helped the Alabama gymnastics program host its annual RISE Holiday Party
- At the holiday party, preschool children from the UA College of Human Environmental Sciences' RISE Center are invited to interact with Alabama gymnasts on each apparatus at the Frances Smith Practice Facility
