HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Alabama women's golf team wrapped up the first round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, sitting in a tie for 10^th place at 15-over par 299. Ryan Flynn and Mattison Frick led the way for the Crimson Tide, ending the day tied in 19^thplace on the player leaderboard at 2-over par 73.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

Alabama recorded 60 pars in the first round of the tournament, tied for the most by a team during the opening round
As a team, the Crimson Tide posted an average score of 4.25 on Par 4 holes, which was tied for the fourth-best score throughout the field
