The sophomore javelin thrower won the event with a PR performance to break the Mike Sanders Complex facility record and move to No. 2 all-time at Alabama
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Alabama track and field's Ellie Partrick highlighted the Crimson Tide's final day of its outdoor season-opening weekend, winning the women's javelin with a facility-record on Saturday.
Partrick's opening attempt of 54.76 meters (179-8) held up for the victory and moved the sophomore to No. 2 all-time in program history.
On the track, Judith Mokobe led a Crimson Tide relay team of Taylor Gullatte, Precious Nzeakor and Ryhan Balous to a first-place finish in the women's 4x100-meter relay before returning to win the 100 meters in 11.51.
Head Coach Dan Waters Said
"This was a good start to the outdoor season for us. We had a small group competing across two meets and saw some solid performances along with valuable experience in different environments. There were a few encouraging results, but more importantly it gave us a chance to get outside, compete and see where we are. We'll build on this and continue focusing on the details as we move forward throughout the year."

- Alabama will return to action next weekend with the multis group traveling to Austin, Texas, for the Texas Relays (April 1-2), and other members of the program heading to Baton Rouge, La., for the Battle on the Bayou (April 3-4)
