The Crimson Tide completes the first round at the Pelican Golf Club
BELLEAIR, Fla. – The Alabama women's golf team carded a team score of 16-over par 296 on Friday to sit in 15th overall after the opening round of the SEC Championships.
Ryan Flynn leads the Tide after day one and sits in 38th overall at 2-over par 72, while Natachanok Tunwannarux is one stroke behind Flynn at 3-over par 73 in 46th place.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Ryan Flynn recorded a team-best 14 pars in the opening round, which was tied for the fourth-most throughout the field
- Natachanok Tunwannarux recorded a pair of birdies, ending the day at 3-over par 73
- Harriet Lockley is in 66th overall at 5-over par 75
- Mattison Frick finished the opening round at 6-over par 76, in 71st overall
- Rounding out UA's lineup in 79th overall is Amanda Gyllner at 11-over par 81

- Vanderbilt and Texas A&M sit tied for first place at 4-under par 276
