The Crimson Tide will welcome Hannig to the 2026-27 squad
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama men's head tennis coach George Husack announced the addition of Braden Hannig to the 2026-27 season. Hannig, a Tuscaloosa, Ala., native, joins the Crimson Tide after spending four seasons at South Alabama.
From Head Coach George Husack
"I've known Braden for a long time as he first hit tennis balls on our courts as an 8-year-old in our clinic program. He has grown in so many ways since that time and will now represent the Crimson Tide this season. Together with the South Alabama staff and coaches in the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham area, Braden's game developed and grew more consistent and stronger during his undergraduate career. He has more room to grow and will eat up each moment on court. His character and personality will immediately impact our locker room, and his tenacity will fuel him, our team and our faithful fans. I'm really excited for him and thrilled to welcome him to our program."
From Braden Hannig
"I'm so excited to come back home to Tuscaloosa and play for Alabama! It's a dream come true as I grew up watching the Tide."
