
Alabama Signs Aleksander Blus to 2026-27 Roster

With the addition of Blus, the Crimson Tide finalizes its 2026 recruiting class
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama men's tennis head coach George Husack announced the signing of Aleksander Blus to the 2026-27 roster on Wednesday. The Posnan, Poland native received his highest ranking at No. 50 in the International Tennis Federation world junior rankings.

"Olek is such an enthusiastic, spirited and determined young player. He has experienced a lot of growth as a competitor over the past 12 months and is very eager to keep improving. He will bring an energetic and unrestrained spark to the locker room, and together with his teammates, push our program forward. We are thrilled with his commitment and look forward to his arrival on campus this August."
Aleksander Blus Notes
- Will compete for Alabama in 2026-27 as a freshman
- Captured four singles and four doubles titles during his prep years
- Competed at two junior grand slam events – 2026 Australian Open and 2026 French Open
- Set to compete at Wimbledon & U.S. Open this year
- Blus' signing rounds out 2026 recruiting class and will join graduate transfer Braden Hannig and fellow freshmen Theo Hegarty and Antonio Voljavec
