Bray and Young were recognized for their service off the track and in the Tuscaloosa community
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama track and field student-athletes Christopher Young and Jordon Bray were named to the 2026 Southeastern Conference Track and Field Men's and Women's Community Service Teams, the league office announced.
The Southeastern Conference announces Community Service Teams for all 22 league-sponsored sports, highlighting a student-athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.
Jordon Bray
- Volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, supporting efforts to improve access to safe and affordable housing for local families
- Participated in Alabama Athletics' annual Halloween Extravaganza, welcoming children and families to campus for trick-or-treating, games and interaction with Alabama student-athletes
Christpoher Young
- Volunteered at Stepping Back to School, helping local students and families prepare for the upcoming academic year
- Assisted with Alabama Athletics' annual Halloween Extravaganza, helping provide a safe and welcoming experience for children and families from the Tuscaloosa community
