Isabel Smith Returns for a Fifth Season with Alabama Soccer

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama head soccer coach Wes Hart announced that midfielder Isabel Smith will return for a fifth season with the Crimson Tide and is eligible immediately to compete this fall.
A Birmingham, Ala., native and 2022 Alabama Gatorade Player of the Year, Smith transferred to Alabama following her 2022 rookie season at Indiana. In three years with the Tide from 2023-25, she played in 60 matches, including 24 starts. She logged a career-high six points in 2023, including six assists and two goals, both of which came in a brace in an Aug. 24 win over Lipscomb. She appeared in all four of Alabama's NCAA Tournament games during her time in Tuscaloosa.
