The rising Crimson Tide sophomore helped lead Team USA to its third consecutive victory in the event
EUGENE, Ore. – Rising Alabama sophomore Alexander Osayemi helped secure gold for Team USA over the weekend at the U20 World Athletics Championships, as Osayemi was part of the 4x400 relay team that posted a championship-winning time of 3:01.39 at Hayward Field.
Osayemi, running as the third leg of the race, garnered a 45.19, the second-fastest time of the American quartet. The victory stands as Team USA's third-consecutive win in the event, with the group's collective time of 3:01.39 standing as the fifth-fastest U20 performance on record.
