Five Alabama Men’s Golfers Named Cobalt All-America Scholars

Alabama is one of 23 Division I teams nationally to have at least five named to award list
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Five Alabama men's golfers have been named Cobalt All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Monday. Connor Brown, Jonathan Griz, Nick Gross, William Jennings and Brycen Jones each earned the honor from for the Crimson Tide.
Alabama All-America Scholars
- This year's five honorees are the most All-America Scholars for Alabama in any one season in program history (had four in 2013)
- Alabama was the only Southeastern Conference team and one of just 23 Division I men's golf programs with five or more honorees named to the list
- To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA and must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2
- A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university
- 649 NCAA D-I athletes from 210 schools earned 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors
