Football’s Conor Talty Named SEC Special Teams Player of the Week

The kicker scored a career-high 14 points in Alabama’s 50-36 win against Florida State
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama kicker Conor Talty was named Southeastern Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday morning.
The weekly accolade is the first in Talty's career and is the fourth for the Crimson Tide this season.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Conor Talty
- Continued his consistent kicking against Florida State, contributing a career-high 14 points in the game
- Good on all five PAT tries while adding three made field goals against the Seminoles
- Extended his made field goal streak to 13, including all eight attempts this season
- Hit from 32, 43 and 45 yards on his three-point kicks, with his 45-yarder making it a two-score game late to help the Tide to victory
