Men’s Golf Improves to Fourth Through 36 Holes Played at the Folds of Honor Collegiate

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. - Three Alabama men's golfers are among the top 20 individuals to help the No. 18-ranked Crimson Tide move into fourth place after two rounds played at the Folds of Honor Collegiate. UA will enter Wednesday's final 18 holes with a 36-hole total of five-under par 563 (284-279).
Senior Jack Mitchell (-4) is in a tie for fifth to lead Alabama and is the only UA golfer to be under par through 36 holes played. Additionally, Nick Gross and Miles Eubanks are tied for 18th as both at even par through two rounds.
The final rounds of the Folds of Honor will be televised on the Golf Channel, with coverage airing live in the morning (10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. CT) and afternoon (3:30-6:30 p.m. CT).
Individual Highlights
- Jack Mitchell paces the Tide at 4-under par 138 (70-68) through 36 holes played, and is just one of only 17 golfers in the 75-man field to shoot below par after two rounds
- In a near blemish-free second round, Mitchell finished with four birdies and one bogey to go 3-under par (68)
- Miles Eubanks (73-69) and Nick Gross (71-71) are in a tie for 18th overall with matching 36-hole scores of even par 142
- Bailey Sutters (72-71/143) is in a tie at 26th, while Andrew Hinson rounds out the UA starters at 3-over 146 (71-74)
- Mitchell leads the field in par 3 scoring (-2, 2.75), while Hinson is currently tied for second-most birdies (11)
The Field
- No. 25 Georgia Tech (-12) remains in the lead just one stroke ahead of both Notre Dame and No. 15 Texas (-11)
- Alabama holds a five-stroke lead over fifth place Cincinnati (E)
