Right Field Terrace Student Area
The Right Field Terrace will serve as the official student section for Alabama Baseball. Students can begin to scan in to the stadium at Gate 6 starting 1 hour prior to first pitch. Student seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. General admission access may be sold for public use if students do not reach their maximum capacity.
Admission
All students must swipe their student Action Card at Gate 6 and be issued a wristband upon entering the stadium.
Alcohol Guidelines
- Entry only allowed at Gate 6
- Once inside the Right Field Terrace area (Gate 6), there is no exiting and reentering except for patrons using the restrooms and concession stands located within Sewell-Thomas Stadium
- All bags and coolers will be checked thoroughly for prohibited items (see list below)
- Any patron consuming alcohol must be of legal age (21 years) and conduct themselves in an appropriate manner according to law
- Any patron under the age of 21 discovered consuming alcohol will be removed from the event
- Identification will be checked at the gate
- A wristband will indicate those patrons that are over 21 years of age
- All coolers will be searched upon entrance
- Canned alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks only
- No glass bottles
- No flasks
- Each patron will be limited to one cooler (20 qt. max) and no more than six (6) canned beverages (16 oz. can limit)
- Example: 2 people entering with 12 canned beverages between them; one person may enter with a cooler to include six (6) canned beverages and the other person may enter with the other six (6) canned beverages in a bag or sack for inspection, then combine all 12 canned beverages into 1 cooler once inside the terrace area.
- Only unopened cans will be permitted for entry
- Any student that is visibly intoxicated upon entering the event will have their wristband removed and will be denied admission to the event
- Those sitting the Right Field Terrace will have the ability to purchase alcohol at concession stands and portables located throughout the concourse to bring back to the terrace area. Please note that alcohol, regardless of whether it was purchased in venue or brought into the stadium, will not be permitted to leave the Right Field Terrace area for entry back into the concourse.

- Flasks are not permitted. Any patron found to be in possession of any alcohol other than canned beverages will be removed from the event.
- Patrons allowed a maximum of six (6) beverages per person.
Entrances
Students will enter Gate 6, located on the Southeast side of the Right Field Terrace (near the Coleman Coliseum parking lot).
Gate 6 will open 1 hour prior to the first pitch.
All patrons bringing in alcoholic beverages will have their IDs checked. All patrons over the age of 21 years old will receive a wristband for verification.
Any guest attempting to bring banned substances into the event will have their wristband removed and will be denied admission to the event.
Prohibited Items
- Alcohol paraphernalia (funnels, beer pong, etc.)
- Artificial noisemakers
- Beer kegs, beer ball, or similar common source containers
- Cameras with telephoto lenses over 6" long
- Couches or oversized furniture (lightweight lawn/camping chairs OK)
- Flags/Banners on poles & selfie-sticks
- Generators
- Glass
- Grills
- Speakers/audio equipment
- Tents larger than 10'x10'
- Throwing objects (beach balls, discs, football, etc.)
- Unleashed animals
- Video recorders or camcorders
- Weapons & firearms
- Any item deemed dangerous or inappropriate by game management personnel
Laws, Codes, and Rules
- All federal, state, and local laws fully apply
- Students are held to the Student Code of Conduct
- Students will adhere to the Sewell-Thomas Stadium Fan Code of Conduct
- Students will adhere to the SEC Code of Conduct
Sewell-Thomas Stadium Fan Code of Conduct
The University of Alabama promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. Fans must conduct themselves with good sportsmanship to reflect the high standards of honor and dignity that characterize The University of Alabama. Anyone associated with an athletic program or event should reflect respect, fairness, civility, responsibility and courtesy to others. Profanity, vulgar cheers, intimidating actions, intoxication, belligerent or abusive behaviors WILL NOT be tolerated. Fans attending Alabama baseball games are expected to stay off the playing field, including after the game, and WILL NOT throw objects onto the field.
Positive support of the players, coaches and officials is strongly encouraged. The University of Alabama expects positive behavior exhibited towards our visiting guests at every contest. Please treat other with courtesy and respect. Any violation of this Code of Conduct subjects you to removal from the stadium and forfeit of future event tickets.
SEC Code of Conduct
Coaches and student-athletes of a member institution, as well as individuals employed by or associated with that institution, including alumni, fans, patrons and boosters, shall conduct themselves with honesty and good sportsmanship. Their behavior shall at all times reflect the high standards of honor and dignity that characterize participation in the collegiate setting. For intercollegiate athletes to promote the character development of participants, to enhance the integrity of higher education and to promote civility in society, coaches, student-athletes and all others associated with these athletics programs and event should adhere to such fundamental values as respect, fairness, civility, honesty, and responsibility. These values should be manifested not only in athletics participation but also in the broad spectrum of activities affecting the athletics program.
A. Conduct themselves in a manner that represents their university, the Southeastern Conference and the NCAA with honor, dignity and respect
B. Demonstrate the qualities of civility and sportsmanship at all times
C. Not use vulgar, abusive, racist, sexist, demeaning or intimidating language at any time
D. Support the players, coaches and officials in a positive manner
E. Treat the visiting team, coaches and fans with courtesy and respect at all times
F. Not engage in cheers that are vulgar, crass or demeaning
G. Refrain from throwing objects onto the field for any reason
H. Not become inebriated or belligerent
I. Refrain from entering the playing field at any times, including after the game
J. Be a positive role model for those around them by treating others with courtesy and respect
Sanctions
If the students fail to meet the standards set forth the following actions will be taken against the student:
1st Offense: Removal from game
2nd Offense: Removal from game and suspension from all remaining baseball games
3rd Offense: Removal from game and suspension from all University of Alabama sporting events for a calendar year
This does not supersede or replace any legal or university action that may be taken against a student who violates the law or code of student conduct.
