Finished 14th in the discus at the NCAA East Regional on May 27 with a throw of 182-6 (55.62m) ... finished 11th in the discus at the SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 12 with a throw of 175-9 (53.58m) ... competed in the discus at the Jim Bush Collegiate on April 15 but did not record a clean throw ... finished third in the discus at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate on April 13 with a throw of 195-4 (59.55m) ... finished fourth in both the shot put (59-9 1/2/17.61m) and the discus (185-4/56.60m) at the Crimson Tide Invitational on April 8 ... finished seventh in the invitational shot put at the Florida Relays on April 1 with a mark of 56-6 1/2 (17.84m) ... finished third in the shot put at the Florida State Relays on March 24 with a mark of 56-11 1/4 (17.35m) ... opened the 2017 outdoor season with a first place finish in the shot put with a mark of 55-7 (16.94m) at the Bulldog Relays on March 18.

Competed in the shot put at the 2017 SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 25 but did not record a clean throw ... finished sixth in the shot put at the Tiger Paw Invitational on Feb. 11 with a season-best mark of 57-5 (17.50m) ... his five marks at the Tiger Paw rank as his top five efforts this season ... finished fourth in the shot put at the Bob Pollock Invitational on Jan. 28 with a mark of 53-9 3/4 (16.40m) as the Tide swept the top four spots for the second meet in a row ... recorded a mark of 55-0 1/4 to finish third in the shot put at the Auburn Invitational as the Tide swept the top four spots in the event ... finished fourth in the shot put at the season-opening Commodore Invitational with a mark of 55-10 1/2 (17.03m) as Alabama claimed four of the top six spots in the event.

Finished 16th in the discus at the NCAA Championships with a throw of 180-8 (55.06m) … registered a mark of 192-2 (58.59m) in the discus to place ninth at the NCAA East Regional meet … recorded a toss of 182-4 (55.58m) in the discus to finish fifth and threw 57-7 (17.55m) in the shot put to finish seventh at the SEC Championships … placed fifth in the discus with a throw of 182-5 (55.60m) and finished eighth in the shot put with a toss of 55-9 ¼ (17.00m) at the LSU Invitational … threw 188-4 (57.40) in the discus to finish third and 53-5 3/4 (16.30m) in the shot put to finish fourth at the War Eagle Invitational … registered a toss of 52-5 1/4 (15.98m) in the shot put to finish 11th and threw 179-9 (54.80m) in the discus to finish fourth in the event at the Battle on the Bayou … recorded a toss of 199-7 (60.83m) in the discus to finish as the runner-up and threw 55-9 (16.99m) in the shot put to finish 10th at the Florida Relays … threw 54-6 3/4 (16.63m) in the shot put and won the discus with a throw of 182-8 (55.69m) at the FSU Relays … finished third in the Alabama Relays discus with a throw of 191-9 (58.45m).

2015 Outdoor Season
Finished as the runner-up in the discus with a toss of 197-3 (60.12m) and earned third place in the shot put with a throw of 55-10 1/4 (17.02m) at the LSU Invitational … won the discus with a toss of 199-2 (60.70m) and finished sixth in the shot put with a throw of 55-3 3/4 (16.86m) at the John Jacobs Invitational ... picked up the victory in the men’s discuss with a best throw of 189-9 (57.85m) at the Border Clash, while finishing fourth in the shot put with a throw of 53-8 1/2 (16.37m) ... threw 192-3 (58.60m) in the discus at the Pepsi Florida Relays to finish third ... posted a mark of 57-1 1/2 (17.41m) in the shot put and 189-7 (57.79m) in the discus to finish fourth in both events at the Crimson Tide Invitational ... finished runner-up in the shot put at Alabama Relays with a toss of 58-3 1/4 (17.76m)... Threw the shot put 52-6 1/2 (16.01m) at the Tyson Invitational ... finished ninth in the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational shot put with a toss of 56-3 (17.15m) ... placed sixth in the shot put invitational with a throw of 56-9 1/4 (17.30m) at the Indiana Relays ... threw 56-2 (17.12m) in the shot put at the Vanderbilt Invitational to finish fifth ... finished sixth in the shot put with a distance of 56-5 3/4 (17.22m) at the Auburn Invitational.

2014 Outdoor Season
Earned eight victories on the year (five discus titles, three shot put titles), concluding with the NCAA discus title ... won the discus title at the NCAA Championships with a mark of 205-10 on his final throw, becoming the second freshman in NCAA history to win the event ... finished fifth in the discus with a mark of 202-0 at the NCAA East Preliminary to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships ... earned SEC All-Freshman team and second team All-SEC honors after finishing runner-up in the discus with a personal-best mark of 209-1 at the SEC Championships ... won the discus with a mark of 187-9 and placed third in the shot put (58-5 3/4) at the Jace Lacoste Invitational ... finished fifth in both the discus (196-9) and the shot put (57-3) at the Mt. SAC Relays ... won the discus (193-10) and finished runner-up in the shot put (59-7) at the Crimson Tide Invitational ... earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors after winning the shot put title with a mark of 61-3 1/2 and the discus title with a mark of 199-1 at the Alabama-Mississippi Border Clash ... swept the discus (193-7) and shot put (58-1) titles at the Yellow Jacket Invitational ... at the Alabama Relays, won the shot put title with a mark of 60-3 and finished runner-up in the discus with a mark of 192-8.

2014 Indoor Season
Finished 12th in the shot put with a mark of 56-11 1/2 at the SEC Indoor Championships … placed 11th in the shot put at the Tyson Invitational with a mark of 54-8 1/4 ... finished runner-up in the shot put with a mark of 56-9 1/4 at the Indiana Relays ... threw a season best mark of 57-5 3/4 to place eighth in the shot put at the Rod McCravy Memorial ... finished fourth in shot put at the Auburn Invitational with a mark of 55-8 1/4.

2012-13
Competing for USA Track & Field, won the discus at the Pan American Junior Championships in Medellin, Colombia, with a throw of 205-0 (62.49 meters) ... also won the discus at the 2013 USA Track & Field Junior Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, with a winning throw of 206 feet, 2 inches (62.84 meters) ... made that winning effort on his only legal throw of the day, easily outpacing the field en route to earning a spot on the U.S. National Team that competed in the Pan American Junior Championships.
