Stephany Smith to Host Pre-Game Luncheon Wednesday

TUSCALOOSA ?? Alabama head women’s basketball coach Stephany Smith has announced that she and her staff will host a luncheon for all fans of the Crimson Tide prior to the Alabama-Tennessee Chattanooga contest on Wednesday, Nov. 29. The gathering will be held at the Northport Diner on McFarland Blvd., at 11:30 a.m.
“This is something new to our program that we are trying to start,” Smith said. “Our booster club has been in place for a long time, but we just want to let people have a more hands-on opportunity with our program, our staff and how we prepare our team throughout the season.”
The luncheon is the first of what will be a monthly occurrence for the Crimson Tide women’s basketball staff. Fans will have the opportunity to meet each member of the staff and hear updates on the Alabama program as well as previews of upcoming games and events.
