The No. 4 ranked Crimson Tide basketball team is in South Bend, Ind., today where it will play a late game on ESPN against Notre Dame. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. C.T. Thursday night in the Joyce Center. Alabama, 7-0, practiced briefly this afternoon at the Joyce Center with the ESPN crew, which includes Jay Bilas, Sean McDonough, and Bill Raftery, at courtside studying up on the team to call the game tonight.
When the team bus returned to the hotel, Tide players Mikhail Torrance, Demetrius Jemison, Justin Tubbs and Mykal Riley, pictured, took just a few seconds in the biting cold to pose for a trip photo before using the snowballs to pelt Aaron and Cameron Gottfried, sons of their head Coach Mark Gottfried, as they ran past the kids to return to their warm hotel rooms.
