Coach Murphy Says: "Alex's ball-off-the-bat speed could be the greatest on the team. She has a knack of getting the barrel of the bat on the ball most of the time. She also has one of the best arms in the infield on the team. If she can continue to improve defensively with her glove, she will be a major contributor to the team in her freshman year."

Started three games at DH and third base
Hit .286 (2-for-7) with four runs scored, one RBI and two walks
Two runs scored and one RBI against Shelton State
Scored two runs against Wallace Dothan
