Women?s Basketball Joins in Christmas Spirit

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ?? The Alabama women’s basketball team along with family and support staff joined together to celebrate the Christmas season on Tuesday night. Head coach Stephany Smith hosted nearly 40 people in the family-like atmosphere at her home.
A pot luck dinner was served in an elegantly decorated home. The garage was arranged to seat nearly everyone in attendance with more than enough food to go around.
The players did a secret Santa with an abundance of gifts that lay under a Christmas tree that was over 10 feet tall. The coaches and staff partook in dirty Santa with an array of gifts.
Alabama will hit the court once again for its first of two games in three days on Thursday, Dec. 20. The Tide will play the Hampton Pirates at 6:00 p.m. from Coleman Coliseum. On Saturday, Dec. 22 Alabama will host Jacksonville State at 2:00 p.m.
