TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama Assistant Women's Basketball Coach Stacey Franklin enters her first season with the Crimson Tide after spending the past 12 seasons with Mississippi State. No stranger to the Capstone, Franklin was a four-year letterwinner for the Tide from 1989-1993. She sat down with Rolltide.com for the first installment of Off the Court with Women's Basketball.
Rolltide.com: What is your favorite place in Tuscaloosa?
Franklin: Any University of Alabama sporting event and Midtown Village
Rolltide.com: What has been your most memorable moment at the University of Alabama thus far?
Franklin: My senior year as a player and going to the NCAA Tournament, which started a string of 10 straight post-season appearances
Rolltide.com: What are you most looking forward to in the upcoming season?
Franklin: Seeing the team work to get better every day and game time
Rolltide.com: If you have a spare moment away from basketball, what might we catch you doing?
Franklin: Hanging out with my friends and family or running and working out
Rolltide.com: If you could trade places with anyone, who would it be and why?
Franklin: Any current player in the WNBA. I love the game!
Rolltide.com: What is/are your favorite hobby(ies)?
Franklin: Working out and scrapbooking. I also like to sing and dance, but I'm bad though!

Franklin: No

Franklin: No

Franklin: Beautiful Hawaii!
