TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – This week will mark the final week of the fall practice schedule for the Alabama baseball team. During the final days of fall workouts, the Crimson Tide will hold two team practices on Monday and Tuesday, followed by three intrasquad games on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
As with all the fall workouts, fans are encouraged to come out to Sewell-Thomas Stadium to watch the Tide in action. Additionally, admission will free for the three games this week. The Wednesday and Thursday game should start around 3:30 p.m., while Friday’s contest is slated to begin around 5:45 p.m. It’s your last chance to see every Crimson Tide baseball player in action, before the roster is cut down to 35 players.
The last day of the fall practice schedule will be Friday, Nov. 4, and concludes with the Crimson and Grey Game under the lights from Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The Crimson and Grey Game will be part of the Friday night activities surrounding the Alabama versus LSU football game. Friday’s night game will be the last opportunity to see the team in full swing before the start of the 2012 campaign.
The 2012 Crimson Tide baseball season begins on Friday, Feb. 17, at 6 p.m., with game one of a three-game series against Florida Atlantic from Sewell-Thomas Stadium. Fans can register for 2012 baseball season tickets by logging onto RollTide.com/tickets.
