TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Tennis has been a part of Emily Zabor's life for as long as she can remember. For generations, the Zabor family has been playing tennis, including her grandfather and her father, both of whom played collegiately.
Emily continued the family tradition, gravitating towards tennis from early childhood on and has excelled at the sport. Her hard work and dedication to Alabama tennis has earned her the title of `captain' for the 2014-15 team.
Zabor's accomplishments aren't just seen on the court. The Marietta, Ga., native has been a model student-athlete as well, twice been named the NCAA Elite 89 Award winner, while also earning the 2013-14 ITA/Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sportsmanship & Leadership Award for the southern region.
Recently, RollTide.com caught up with the senior standout in a feature story about the senior standout.
