The Crimson Tide baseball program will host the event in the North Zone at Bryant-Denny Stadium
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball and head coach Greg Goff will host a "First Pitch Dinner" on Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. CT inside the North Zone at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Interested parties wishing to attend the Crimson Tide baseball program's special dinner to kick off the 2017 season can now register online for their seat.
A special evening for the Alabama baseball team, the night will be a memorable experience for all in attendance. Supporters of the Crimson Tide baseball program will have an opportunity to join in officially starting the season off with Goff, his coaching staff and the players on the Friday before Alabama hosts Presbyterian College for the season opener on Feb. 17.
Attendees will have an opportunity to meet the team, get autographs and enjoy a special dinner. Each table at the event will feature at least one Alabama baseball player to eat with the fans. The voice of Alabama baseball, Chris Stewart, will emcee the event.
The dinner will also feature special guest speaker, Keith Madison. The winningest coach in Kentucky baseball history, Madison walked away from the UK baseball program in 2003 after 25 seasons that saw him amass 737 career victories. When he left the Wildcats, Madison was the third-winningest coach in SEC baseball history behind only legends Ron Polk and Skip Bertman. Madison coached 85 players who were drafted or signed professional baseball contracts, including 17 who eventually reached Major League Baseball. Among those were Joe Blanton, Scott Downs and 2006 Cy Young Award winner, Brandon Webb.
Tickets for the night are on sale now and can be purchased by clicking here. General admission for adults is $50, while tickets for Alabama baseball lettermen are $40.
