Alabama Women’s Basketball Hosts Antelope Valley in Exhibition Matchup

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's basketball team will play its lone exhibition game of the season on Wednesday when it welcomes the University of Antelope Valley to Coleman Coliseum. Tip is slated for 7 p.m. CT, and admission is free.

OPENING TIP
- Alabama returns its entire team from last year's squad that won 22 games, the most wins since 1997-98, and advanced to the SEC tournament and WNIT quarterfinals.
- In addition to its returnees, the Crimson Tide welcomes four newcomers – three transfers and one true freshman.
- This is the first meeting between Alabama and Antelope Valley.

- University of Antelope Valley is an NAIA school out of Lancaster, California.
- The Pioneers finished the 2016-17 season with a 21-7 record and beat Pepperdine in exhibition a year ago.
- Antelope Valley has played two games thus far this season, falling by one point to Lewis-Clark State, 74-73, and beating St. Katherine, 98-59.
