The Crimson Tide coaching staff held the annual showcase for area scouts
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama baseball staff hosted Scout Day on Tuesday afternoon at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
The hour-long workout provided scouts with a platform to see Crimson Tide players in action and evaluate their performance. Following the skill drills, Alabama took part in an intrasquad scrimmage that scouts were welcomed to view as the day wrapped up.
Things began with timed sprints followed by warmups and extended infield and outfield drills. The hour wrapped up with a full team batting practice session before moving into the scrimmage.
Alabama welcomed scouts representing numerous Major League clubs. The scouts were able to take a look at the Crimson Tide's 24 draft-eligible players.
