Crimson Tide Baseball to Start Fall Practice on Monday

Alabama will hold its first slate of full-team activity this week to kick off the fall season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Crimson Tide baseball program and first-year head coach Brad Bohannon will begin fall practice on Monday, Sept. 18, as Alabama will begin its full-team fall training this week.
Monday's start to the fall will be Bohannon's first session with the entire 2017-18 squad. The Tide players have spent the past month working in the weight room and doing individual on-field work in preparation for the start of fall camp.
Alabama will begin practice at 2:30 p.m. CT on Monday. Coach Bohannon and his players will then return on Tuesday for the team's first intrasquad scrimmage following a quick practice session to start the day. First pitch of Tuesday's scrimmage is set for 3:45 p.m. CT with senior Jake Walters squaring off against junior Sam Finnerty on the mound.
Wednesday will be an off day before UA returns to the field on Thursday for a regular practice. The Crimson Tide then closes out the week with a pair of scrimmages on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
All scrimmages are subject to change. The length will be determined on a game-to-game basis. Spaced out between scrimmages are the team's regularly scheduled practice sessions. Dates and times of all practices and scrimmages for the upcoming week can be found on RollTide.com each Monday.
Admission to Alabama baseball's on-field practices is free to those interested in attending. Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through the main gate (Gate 3) located directly behind home plate. Once inside, fans are to stay in the lower bowl seating area with access to the upper levels of the stadium strictly prohibited.
