Pelletier and Hinton grab singles flight titles after three days of competition
HOUSTON, Texas – Alabama women's tennis concluded action at the Rice Invitational on Sunday at the George R. Brown Tennis Center in Houston, Texas.
"I felt like our team made some positive progress this weekend," head coach Jenny Mainz said. "We gained invaluable match play and competed well overall. This was an excellent measuring stick to evaluate where we are and things we need to work on moving forward. We have lots of positives to build on working toward Regionals in October."
"I was pleased with our fitness level as it undoubtedly helped pull us through multiple matches in the Houston heat and humidity," Mainz continued. "Credit to our strength coach, Ashton McLeod, and our athletic training staff of Katie Wheeler and Macy Franklin for their commitment in preparing our team."
