
Alabama Women’s Tennis Releases 2021-22 Schedule

The Crimson Tide opens the season September 24 at the three-day Ole Miss Invite in Oxford, Miss.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's tennis team announced its 2021-22 schedule Friday. The Crimson Tide competes in five tournaments this fall, opening the season Sept. 24 at the Ole Miss Invite in Oxford, Miss.
A Look at the Fall
- Alabama will compete in five tournaments this fall
- The team begins the 2021-22 campaign at the Ole Miss Invite in Oxford, Miss., Sept. 24-26, before traveling to Charleston, S.C., for the All-American Championships Oct 4-10
- For the first time since 2016, the Tide will host the ITA Southeast Regional Championships, Oct. 14-19.
- Alabama will host the 33rd annual Roberta Alison Fall Classic, Oct. 29- 30
- UA concludes 2021 with the ITA Fall National Championships in San Diego, Calif., Nov. 4-7
The Spring
- UA hosts 16 dual matches in the spring, opening with a pair of matches on Jan. 23 against Samford and Troy
- Alabama hosts Southeastern Conference rivals Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Missouri, Arkansas, Georgia and Tennessee, while traveling for dual competitions against Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida and South Carolina
- In addition to Samford and Troy, the Tide welcomes seven non-conference teams to Tuscaloosa, including UAB, UT Chattanooga, Houston, TCU, North Alabama, Memphis and Minnesota
- Tulane is UA's lone road non-conference matchup with the two teams meeting in New Orleans, La.
- Alabama plays at the Blue Gray National Classic in Montgomery Ala., Feb. 25-26
- The SEC Championships will be in Gainesville, Fla., April 20-24
- NCAA Regional Championships will be held May 6-8 while the Super Regional will be May 13-14, with campus sites to be determined
- Urbana-Champaign, Ill., will serve as the host city for the NCAA Championships May 19-28
