Jarvis Earns ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Honors at Shortstop

Jarvis is the Crimson Tide’s first Gold Glove winner since 2013 and just the third winner in program history
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama's Jim Jarvis was named an ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove recipient at shortstop, the organizations announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Jarvis is just the third player in Crimson Tide history to be recognized with Gold Glove honors, joining Taylor Dugas (2011) and Kyle Overstreet (2013).

- A four-year starter on the infield and the Tide's everyday shortstop each of the last three seasons
- Named to the All-SEC Defensive Team at shortstop
- Sits at eighth on Alabama's all-time list for assists with 484 for his career
- Ranks fourth in the SEC for assists with 156 while tying for fourth in double plays turned with 39
- Totaled 75 assists in conference play to tie for third in the league
