Alabama Concludes Day One of Roberta Alison Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA – The Alabama women's tennis team concluded the opening day of the Roberta Fall Classic with a pair of single victories and will be back in action tomorrow for the final day of the tournament.
Match Notes
- In round one of singles play, Sara Nayar defeated ETSU's Julia Millian in straight-sets, 6-2, 7-5, to earn the Tide's first win of the day.
- Ansley Cheshire picked up a victory over Troy's Emilia Namyslo in three sets, 6-4, 1-6, 6-3.
- Klara Milicevic battled three sets, but ultimately fell to Carolina Troiana from Mississippi State, 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (6).
- Alabama battled in the second round of singles with two matches going into three sets.
- Milicevic fell to Georgia's Sofia Rojas in a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 battle
- Nayar dropped her second match of the day to Georgia's Aysegul Mart, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.
- Cheshire lost to South Alabama's Lara Van der Merwe, 6-2, 6-2.
