
Men’s Basketball Hosts Clemson in ACC/SEC Challenge

The Crimson Tide and Tigers will meet for the 14th time overall and third since 2023
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's basketball team will host the Clemson Tigers in the 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge, the Southeastern Conference announced Thursday. The game is set for Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Coleman Coliseum.
It will mark the 14th meeting between the Crimson Tide and Tigers in series history and third time in the last three seasons. The programs last met on March 30, 2024 in the Elite Eight during the NCAA Tournament, as Alabama advanced to its first-ever Final Four, defeating Clemson 89-82.
Facing the Challenge
- The two teams have met 13 times previously with Clemson leading the series 8-5
- Alabama is 5-5 against ACC opponents under Nate Oats
- The Crimson Tide suffered a 77-85 loss to the Tigers in the last meeting during the ACC/SEC Challenge on Nov. 28, 2023 at Coleman Coliseum
- Clemson holds a 4-0 record when playing Alabama at Coleman Coliseum
