Bryant Society Welcomes 2026 Class
The Crimson Tide Foundation recognizes the incredible generosity of our donors through the Lifetime Giving Society and honors those whose philanthropy to Alabama Athletics reaches the Bryant Society. The first Bryant Society Induction Ceremony in 2015 honored the 16 donors whose lifetime contributions to the Crimson Tide Foundation at that time had reached at least $1 million. Due to the generosity of our loyal supporters, this has become an annual event giving us the opportunity to formally recognize and induct new Bryant Society members during a black-tie ceremony and dinner. Last Friday night we had the privilege of honoring the 2026 class of Bryant Society inductees. In addition to Friday night's festivities, these donors were recognized in a special presentation at halftime of Saturday's game. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our Bryant Society members and the enduring impact they make on our programs.

University Spotlight
What would Halloween weekend be without discussions of spirits, haunted houses and otherworldly encounters. I stumbled upon an article on the Gorgas House Museum and how it brings some of the ghost stories to life with activities before and around Halloween. The Gorgas House has been a legendary staple in Tuscaloosa for nearly 200 years, serving as a dining hall, infirmary, post office and lecture rooms following its time as a home to the Gorgas family. For those who have never been, the Gorgas House Museum is a great way to experience its storied past which tends to become home to ghost stories and paranormal legend. No matter how one looks at it, the Gorgas House has played an instrumental part in shaping the University of Alabama campus and its historic significance is well explained and documented by the Gorgas House Museum.Â
#RollTideFriday
I continue to receive photos of fans and alumni proudly wearing the Alabama "A" and I especially enjoy seeing those pictures from different countries worldwide. This week's #RollTideFriday photo was a selfie of Alabama fan Y. Taylor Rose on the Queen Emma Bridge in Willemstad, Curaçao.

Remember to keep sending me those photos and use the hashtag #RollTideFriday in your social posts. You can also tweet your photos to me at @Greg_Byrne. We will select photos to feature in each Byrne Notice. Keep these great photos coming!
