
Doris Lemngole Named SEC Women's Co-Runner of the Week

The honor marks the junior's 11th conference weekly award from the league office
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Alabama track and field's Doris Lemngole was named the Southeastern Conference Women's Co-Runner of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday. The award is Lemngole's second in three weeks and the fourth consecutive weekly conference honor earned by Alabama this season.
Lemngole highlighted the Crimson Tide's multi-meet weekend by winning the women's 5,000-meter invite at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston. The reigning Bowerman Award winner ran a personal-best 14:51.21 to lower her UA school record and maintain her standing at No. 2 all-time in NCAA history.
