Alabama scored a 49.175 on vault, 49.400 on bars, 49.475 on beam and 49.425 on floor to total a 197.475. LSU finished third with a 197.950, Oklahoma placed second with a 198.150 and Florida won the team title with a 198.175.
Head Coach Ashley Johnston Said
"This team's mission tonight was to go all in and give every bit of heart that they possibly could. I really feel like, walking away, we did that tonight. We learned a lot – there were some really high moments, with Gabby (Gladieux) winning an SEC floor title. I think every Alabama fan can attest that it was well-deserved, and I'm so excited for her and to see all her work come together tonight and show off her rockstar floor routine. I'm also proud of Aza (Ra-Akbar) and Ryan (Fuller), who had outstanding nights. Kylee (Kvamme) anchoring beam with a 9.950 was also a huge standout moment for this team.
"We saw time and time again that each person gave everything in each moment. A lot of those moments were outstanding, and there were a few we gave away. We learn from those, grow from them and move forward together as we head into championship season. It's onward to regionals — learning where we're seeded, where we'll compete and continuing to do what makes this team great: being relentless, putting in the work and finding ways to improve week in and week out. This was a national championship-level environment — competing among the best is the ultimate preparation for where we want to be."
