Freshman Karla Bartel’s ranked singles win highlighted the Crimson Tide in the road match
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Alabama women's tennis team (10-3, 2-3 SEC) fell to No. 8 Texas A&M (13-2, 5-0 SEC), 4-1, in a road match at the Mitchell Tennis Center. The Crimson Tide and Aggies began with singles play in Saturday's match.
Karla Bartel highlighted the Crimson Tide with a ranked victory at the No. 4 spot in singles.

- Karla Bartel put the Tide on the board with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) decision over No. 86 Violeta Martinez on court four
- Texas A&M clinched the team victory with singles wins on courts two, three, one and five, respectively
