Zimnokh and Gimenez Perez captured individual wins for the Crimson Tide in the loss
STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Alabama men's tennis team (12-16, 3-11 SEC) concluded the regular season Sunday against the sixth-ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs. The Tide saw singles wins from Andrii Zimnokh and Carlos Gimenez Perez as UA fell 5-2 in the match.
In addition to Zimnokh and Gimenez Perez's singles wins, Alabama recorded a doubles victory from the eighth-ranked pairing of Vit Kalina and Zimnokh, who secured a win at the No. 1 spot.

"A tough match against a very good opponent. We performed better today than on Friday. Andrii and Carlos had quality outings this weekend. We have seen a lot of improvement this season and will continue to build our consistency and execution.
"Now we must rest and prepare our minds and bodies for the SEC Championships. It should be a great tournament as all of the schools in the SEC have had such competitive matches this year. We look forward to the challenge and opportunity ahead."
