TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama softball tied a program record with four student-athletes earning 2026 Academic All-America accolades, as announced by Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) Tuesday. Marlie Giles and Alexis Pupillo earned First Team recognition, while Brooke Wells was named to the Second Team and Jocelyn Briski earned Third Team honors.
Alabama and Nebraska tied for the most Division 1 honorees this season and the four also tie the Crimson Tide's program record, previously doing so in 2021 and 2014. Alabama has placed multiple student-athletes on the list in six of the last eight seasons, increasing its all-time total to 39 Academic All-Americans. It is the first career Academic All-America accolade for all four of the Tide's honorees.
